"Opera to Die For"

Experience some of the most dramatic scenes in opera, as our singers presents excerpts, arias and duets from the Masters.  

Hear the plaintive final scenes from "Manon", "Andrea Chenier", and "Lucia di Lammermoor"...including the famous Mad Scene from Lucia.

Also three soul wrenching duets from "Don Carlo", "La Clemenza di Tito"  and "Maria Stuarda", as well as arias from "Dido and Aeneas",  "Werther",  "L'Arlesienne" and "Turandot".

The concert will take place at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Scranton.  At intermission, our Board of Directors will provide delicious pastries treats, also to die for.  

All Adult tickets are $20/ person; Students/ $10.

Upcoming Events

Mostly Opera began performing in 2000.  Its roots go back to  1967 with OPERA IV and continued to grow.  Today Mostly Opera performs two concerts annually...classical opera in the Spring and musical dinner theater in the Fall.  MO features the talents of professional singers from N.E. Pennsylvania and beyond.  It is the donation of their talent that allows us to 

"Keep Opera Alive in Scranton".
